Summary:
In Swimmy, Swimmy, a black fish, shows a school of little red fish how to escape the jaws of bigger fish by swimming in the formation of one large fish. In Frederick, although Frederick appears to be the laziest member in a family of busy field mice, he makes valuable contributions in the middle of winter. In Cornelius, Cornelius, a crocodile who walks upright, sees things no crocodile has ever seen before. In Fish is fish, when his friend, the tadpole, becomes a frog and leaves the pond to explore the world, the little fish decides that maybe he doesn't have to remain in the pond either. In It's mine!, three selfish frogs quarrel over who owns their pond and island, until a storm makes them value the benefits of sharing.
