Regarded as one of the all-time slide guitar greats, Hole also became Australia's first successful Blues export. His playing, infused with the spirit of legends such as Elmore James, Duane Allman and Johnny Winter, earned both rave reviews and multiple invitations to perform worldwide. Nine albums and countless tours of the US and Europe solidified his stature and saw him headlining festivals in America, Germany, Denmark, The Netherlands, France, Poland, Russia and Switzerland. Hole's two performances at the prestigious Leverkussen Blues Festival in Germany were televised nationally. His tours have also included performances in the UK, Brazil, Sweden, Norway, Austria, Luxembourg, Belgium and the Czech Republic. April 2018 sees Dave's new album GOIN' BACK DOWN released on CD, LP and digitally - and it has been a long time coming. "It's taken three years of my life", says Hole "but it's been worth it. The result is a quite different and more varied collection of songs than what might be considered usual for a Dave Hole album.
