Meet Dr. Martin Bamford, an obstetrician who has left practice in London for very personal reasons, and headed to the village in Cornwall called Port Isaac. In the first film, Doc Martin, he is reassessing his marriage and career. In Doc Martin and the Legend of the Cloutie, he resorts to camouflage, subterfuge, and folk magic to get away from the nosy neighbors in town.
