Summary:
Superman, the movie: As an infant, Superman is sent to earth from the doomed planet Krypton. As he grows up, he learns he has super powers which he must hide from the ordinary mortals around him. Superman II: Unwittingly released from Phantom Zone imprisonment, three super-powered Planet Krypton criminals plan to enslave Earth. At the same time, Superman decides to show a more romantic side of himself to Lois Lane. Superman III: Meet Gus Gorman, a naìˆve computer programming natural. For Gus, a keyboard is a weapon - and, as a result Superman faces the microelectronic menace of his life. Superman's human side comes out as he sees Lana Lang at his Smallville High School class reunion. Superman becomes his own worst enemy after a Kryptonite exposure. Superman IV the quest for peace: To make the world safe for nuclear arms merchants, Lex Luthor creates a new super being to challenge Superman: the radiation-charged Nuclear Man. The two foes clash in an explosive extravaganza that sees Superman saving the Statue of Liberty, pluging a volcanic eruption at Mount Etna and rebuilding the demolished Great Wall of China.
