The North Carolina Zoo is one of the largest zoos in the world with more than 1,000 animals that live in lush natural habitats. A passionate family of vets and zookeepers is on hand to help with everything from emergency surgery to animal births. With lions, elephants and gorillas to care for at the zoo, there's no such thing as a normal day in this animal kingdom.
