Summary:
Yoh's withdrawal ensures Ren's resurrection, but deadly battles and loss of lives continue. When Ryu is slain in a retaliatory attack by Hao's minions, he encounters the godly Gandhara, who have the power to resurrect the dead. Then, in another fatal conflict, Ludsev incites his golem to kill Joco, avenging his father's murder. Joco lands in Hell, atones for his past, and obtains a powerful new Over Soul. Meanwhile, Hao insists that Yoh return to the Shaman Fight--or else! Yoh can't refuse, but this will enrage the X-Laws. Will he renege on a promise and throw his hat back into the ring?
