Summary:
Clark Griswold and his wife Ellen have planned all year for their family to take a great summer vacation. From their suburban Chicago home across America to the Disneyland-like Walley World, every inch of their cross-country pilgrimage has been carefully plotted on their new home computer. They lose all their money when their new car gets wrecked. Their cousins deposit cantakerous Aunt Edna with them for a lift to Phoenix. Clark has a highway flirtation with a mysterious woman in a Ferrari. His meeting with her in Arizona ends in disaster. After 2,000 miles of calamities, the Griswolds arrive at Walley World.
