Summary:
The story follows Tom Ward, a brash young college graduate (William Haines), who has always succeeded in life with his outlandish charms. He falls in love at first sight with Mary Howe (Leila Hyams), a woman who is dating Mr. McAndrews, a stable and boring finance wizard. Tom unsuccessfully tries to woo her, and then finds himself working for McAndrews (Francis X. Bushman Jr.), who gives him the impossible task of selling municipal bonds to the wealthy Hettie Brown (Marie Dressler).
