Summary:
Addie Mills is a smart and strong-willed young girl living in Nebraska in the 1940s with her sensible but stubborn father, James, and her loving, quirky Grandma. In The House Without A Christmas Tree, all Addie wants is to have a Christmas tree for the first time. But James refuses due to a painful family memory. Trouble ensues in The Thanksgiving Treasure when Addie tries to invite Jame's sworn enemy over for Thanksgiving dinner in the hopes of ending their longstanding feud.
