Summary:
An American doctor comes to France to collect the remains of his son who was killed in a storm while walking the Camino de Santiago in the Pyrenees. Driven by a profound sadness, he decides to honor his son's desire to finish the historical pilgrimage, and begins a quest for greater meaning in his own life.
