Summary:
Caesar is born to a chimpanzee given an experimental Alzheimer's disease drug and gains human-like intelligence and emotions. After the death of his mother, he is raised like a child by the drug's creator, and finds himself taken from the humans he loves and imprisoned. He assembles a simian army and escapes imprisonment, while the next generation of the drug kills the humans exposed to it, putting man and primate on a collision course that could change the planet forever.
