Summary:
There's gold in California, and greedy mine owners blast the state's majestic mountains with high-pressure power hoses to unleash the glittery wealth - even if the process may create rampaging floods on local farmlands. A sweeping historical epic, tells the true story of the 1870s through the lens of a romance between a mining engineer and a wealthy landowner's daughter.
