Summary:
Angles in the outfield: The California Angels are a struggling baseball team praying to win a pennant. Their luck changes as their biggest fan, 11-year-old Roger, begins giving the coach tips from a real live angel. The team not only climbs back into the pennant race, but learns to believe in themselves.
Field of dreams: A Iowa farmer hears a voice that instructs him to plow down his crops and construct a baseball field. After doing so, the field is inhabited by spirits of dead baseball players.
Major league: A beautiful, smart, goal-oriented woman has just inherited the Cleveland Indians. Unfortunately, she wants to move the franchise to Miami. A losing season is her only ticket to Florida. She decides to sign the wildest gang of screwballs that ever played baseball. Her catcher is a washed-up womanizer who struck out in life. Her pitcher is a punked-out crazy who struck out with the law. Her third baseman is more concerned with fielding endorsements than grounders. See if this ragtag group of players can stay in Cleveland by going all the way to the World Series.
Moneyball: The story of Oakland A's general manager Billy Beane's successful attempt to put together a baseball club on a budget by employing computer-generated analysis to draft his players.
The natural: A once-promising baseball player on his way to stardom in the big leagues, finds his dreams shattered when a mysterious woman and a silver bullet end his career prematurely. Sixteen years later, armed with his childhood bat "Wonderboy," he comes back to baseball, joins the roster of the lowly New York Knights to see if he can overcome physical pain and the nefarious forces around him to lead his team to the pennant.
