Summary:
Thomas is a troubled teenager who was given up for adoption as a toddler and is now obsessed with finding his birth mother. After searching for years, Thomas finally finds his mother single, with a young child, and living in a nearby suburb. Thomas starts a relationship with her which is part courtship and part obsessive and eventually drives him to an act of madness.
