Summary:
Greedy relatives assemble in an old mansion to hear the will of an eccentric recluse. The beautiful heroine, heiress to a possible fortune, is menaced by a mysterious killer disguised as a hideous monster. A forerunner to many horror-comedies that reveal seemingly supernatural events as the doings of a human villain, the story features secret passages, vanishing actors and claw-like hands reaching out from the darkness.
