Summary:
Fueld by promises of gold, Spanish conquistador Francisco Pizarro and his explorers venture across the treacherous Andes Mountains to Peru. There, Pizarro captures King Atahuallpa, Inca's godlike monarch, and promises his freedom upon the deliverance of gold. But friendship and respect develop between the two leaders and when the King is sentenced to die, Pizarro finds himself torn between his desire for conquest and his sense of honor for the King.
