Summary:
The imaginary recreation of a night in 1816 in a Swiss villa, where Lord Byron, Percy Shelley, Shelley's fianceĢe Mary Godwin, her stepsister Claire Clairemont and Byron's friend John Polidori spend a hallucinatory evening confronting their fears and sharing their terrifying fantasies, which ultimately lead to the creation of Godwin's Frankenstein and Polidori's The vampyre.
