Summary:
A young female librarian in Hiroshima, Japan, an atomic bomb surviver, falls in love with a young man three years after the end of World War II. Still feeling anguish about the wartime loss of many loved ones killed in her place, she tries to suppress her feelings toward the young man. Then, her late father appears as a ghost to convince her to start her new life.
