Summary:
Adaptation of Jane Austen's novel about lost and found love. Anne is persuaded to reject a proposition of marriage from the man she loves due to his lack of fortune. Years later, they meet again, but now Captain Wentworth has returned from a career at sea both eligible and affluent, while Anne's family has been forced to move to a smaller abode in Bath. While Anne now recognizes the mistake she made in being persuaded against him, she accepts that his heart now seems set upon a younger, prettier woman.
