Basma Alsharif is a visual artist using moving and still images, sound, and language, to explore the anonymous individual in relation to political history. In this artistic documentary Alsharif presents the story of a woman who recounts her memories as a child during the mass exodus of Palestinians from Jerusalem in 1948. Beginning with the arrival and ending with the departure, the tale moves backwards in time and through various landscapes.
