Summary:
Idealistic young lawyer Adam Hall goes to Mississippi to win clemency for his one-time Klansman grandfather Sam Cayhall, who is scheduled to die in the gas chamber for the murders of two Jewish children three decades before. Adam has taken on the case in the hope of unlocking some of the dark secrets of his family's past that ultimately lead him to the startling truth.
