Summary:
A film about Gabbo, a ventriloquist and supreme egotist, Mary, his assistant, and Little Otto, Gabbo's dummy. Gabbo constantly finds fault with Mary's efforts to please and insists upon his own greatness. One day he forces Mary to leave, and he is certain that Mary will come back. After he increases his fame, he realizes he loves Mary. But it is too late, Mary has remarried. Ask Dad: The simple story of a father, his son, and his secretary, all of whom work together in an office. Finding his voice: Animated figure Talkie gets a visit from his friend Mutie in search for a job. Talkie takes him to the Western Electric sound lab, where a technician explains the process of putting sound on film and reproducing it in the theatre.
