Summary:
Set in the 17th century, two aristocratic families in decline, who run separate parts of a commonly shared estate, are constantly making each others lives as miserable as possible. They try to outwit each other at every turn to gain sole control of the manor, as each family member pursues their own greed and lusty interests.
