Summary:

Pierre, a former pilot, just returned home from the French-Indochina war, suffers from amnesia. He leads a pointless life until he meets a 12 year old girl who has been left at a local convent school. A warm attachment develops between the two, but friends become suspicious of their relationship, and tragedy follows.
