Summary:
The Lagoon District in Northern Mexico is home to the last singers of the Cardenche Song, a wistful/nostalgic melody of love and disdain, of wailing and tragedy. This is a journey in search of the last vestiges of this tradition. The dazzling documentary features heartbreaking musical performances that capture why this howl of a singing technique is so unique.
