Summary:
When Busby Berkeley arrived at Warner Bros. to stage the numbers for 42nd street in 1933, he changed the form of musical film forever. Berkeley saw each musical number as a challenge to create unbridled new heights of fantasy, so much so that he quickly became a legend. The musical numbers Berkeley directed at Warner Bros. during the years 1933-1937 represent the essence of his genius. This is a collection of selected musical numbers from nine of his films.
