Summary:
An American dancer becomes engaged to a Russian officer, but has also attracted the unwanted attentions of his commanding officer, the Grand Duke, who puts a death sentence on the officer. While fleeing from him, they check in to a hotel, where they are mistaken for the Grand Duchess and her adjutant.
