Mr. Rogers puts together three sticks to create a stand for a seat. Mr. McFeely brings a seat to finish the chair. Mr. Rogers brings out an easel and a pad of paper and draws with crayons. Includes a 7 minute factory visit showing "How crayons are made." In the NOM (puppet story), King Friday is having a drawing contest. Miss Paulifficate calls Harriet Cow to tell her about it. At the school, the class thinks of different ways to draw the neighborhood. Handyman Negri builds a judging stand. Lady Elaine tells Handyman Negri that she has to win the contest because she will be better liked if she wins. Examining the issue of competition, Mr. Rogers discusses how the enjoyment of doing things is more important than winning.
