Summary:
In the Montparnasse neighborhood of Paris, in the years 1919-1920, the young artist Amedeo Modigliani drowned himself in alcohol. He has fallen in love with Jeanne Hébuterne despite the opposition of her wealthy family. She nonetheless decides to share the artist's life. The couple brave the difficulties of everyday life, but Modigliani only experience failures and plunges into debauchery.
