Summary:
Caught in the draft: Hope plays a gun-shy movie star who gets drafted. He pulls through and ends up a hero and wins the heart of the colonel's daughter. Give me a sailor: A comedy about mixed-up relationships. Sailors Jim and Walter Brewster are brothers in love with the same girl, Nancy, who has an ugly duckling sister, Letty. Letty agrees to help Jim win Nancy if he will help her win Walter. Jim tries, but nothing seems to work, that is until a photo of Letty's legs wins first prize in a national contest. Suddenly Walter notices her, but Letty changes her mind, causing things to get even more mixed up.
