Summary:
Entre'acte. Depicts the Dada spirit of mockery and unreality (military maneuvers on Paris rooftops, a funeral on a roller coaster, etc.). Symphonie diagonal. Explores the artistic visual qualities of lighted lines and shapes. L'etoile de mer. Juxtaposition of separate, elusive images to portray one man's difficulty in becoming committed to a woman. A starfish symbolizes his yearning for sincere beauty without hidden, destructive qualities.
