Summary:
In The Kid (68 min.) , a desperate, unwed mother leaves her baby in a limousine, hoping he'll have a better life, but the car is stolen and the child dumped in an alley where he's found by a tramp who tries unsucessfully to find more suitable parents, but is obliged to keep and raise him, teaching him all he can. A dog's life (35 min.) is the story of human and canine underdogs who survive and succeed despite all the odds against them.
