Summary:
Stella, a teenage prostitute working for Mr. Peters, flees to Glasgow, aided by Eddie, a small time hustler. In Glasgow, Stella confronts her past, and returns to London with Eddie to start a new life. Though she succeeds, and gets herself together, Eddie starts to fall back into his bad old ways, and Stella is forced into one last confrontation with her past.
