Summary:
Will Parker arrives in the small town of Whitney, after spending five years in Huntsville Prison for killing someone in La Grange, Texas. Through an ad in the local paper, Will discovers that Emily, a recently widowed mother of two small boys, is actively looking for a husband and father. Star-crossed loners, Will and Emily decide to make a go of their collective plight and Will moves into the barn on her farm. When a local woman is found murdered, Will is set up to take the fall.
