Summary:
Ghost Dancers was inspired by a letter sent to choreographer Bruce by the widow of the Chilean folksinger and writer, Victor Jara, murdered during a military coup in Chile. The dance evokes the gaiety and courage of the people of South America even in the face of oppression and death. Part one is an introduction by the choreographer, Bruce; part two is the performance of the ballet.
