Summary:
Boar God turned Tatari-Gami (a Cursing God) curses a young prince to a slow but certain death. To find a possible cure for the curse, he travels to find a Shishi-Gami (a Deer-God). During his journey he becomes entangled in a battle between a clan of humans and the forest's animal gods led by Princess Mononoke, a young woman who was raised by a Wolf God. Set during the Muromachi era in Japan.
