Presenters: Frank Sovinsky, D.C. and Nathan Unruh, D.C. Online webinar recorded November 21, 2013, 5:00 P.M. CDT.
Summary:
Dr. Unruh encourages us to focus on the happiness already around us. Too many folks have a ?when I? outlook ? I will be happy when I [accomplish something specific]. There is joy today! Don?t wait to be happy, be happy now. He cited the Accountability Ladder. Summed up, nothing gets better until YOU get better. Books that Dr. Unruh recommends include Blue Ocean Strategy and The Go Giver. Zappos and Cirque de Soleil are Blue Ocean companies. There are four things we can learn from Zappos. These concepts can be applied to your chiropractic career. 1. Perceive progress. Failure is not a sign of weakness, not trying is. 2. Connectedness. People don?t care how interesting you are until they know how interested you are. 3. Perceive control. You are the architect of your future. 4. Be a part of something bigger than yourself. It?s not about a title, it?s about a towel, a great example of Servant Leadership.
