Summary:
Ibsen's play about a woman who leaves her husband and children to find a new life for herself is the basis for this documentary of the process of play production from first read-through to performance. Actors from the Oval House Theatre, Kennington, appear in two scenes from the play staged in three different time settings: 1870's, 1950's, 1980's.
