Summary:
A young journalist (Montgomery Clift) finds himself engrossed, appalled, and sickened by his work on the agony column. His relationship to Justy Sargeant (Dolores Hart) is soon threatened by his involvement and sympathy for the poor souls who bare all to Miss Lonelyhearts.
