Summary:
A film about a six-year-old Orthodox Jewish boy, his Russian grandfather, his grandfather's aging horse, and the comic-tragic ambitions of the boy's Canadian-born father, who wants to become rich. Set in the late 1920s in Montreal's Jewish immigrant neighborhood.
