Summary:
A Tale of two cities is the earlist film version of the story, based on Charles Dickens classic tale, of two men who fall in love with the same woman during the French Revolution. The first of the original three reels is missing. The two-reeler, In the switch tower, is the story of a train engineer who, after a period of drunkenness and imprisonment, attempts to redeem himself by preventing the wreck of a train on which his estranged son and daughter-in-law are passengers.
