Summary:
When attorney Joe Morse learns that the noted racketeer for whom he works intends to bankrupt New York's "numbers banks", he tries to convince his brother to join the scheme and avoid the ruin of his own "bank". As Joe becomes more deeply involved, he finds himself wedged between the numbers racket and a new prosecutor's anti-crime campaign.
