Summary:
Jim Douglas is a down-on-his-luck race car driver who reluctantly teams up with Herbie, an almost-human Volkswagen. When Jim starts winning races with Herbie and a rival racer tries to buy the VW, Jim realizes that there's even more to Herbie than he ever imagined.
