Summary:
The ballet tells the tale of a young girl, Odette, transformed into a swan by the evil sorcerer, Baron von Rothbart. Prince Siegfried, bound to her by undying love is decieved by von Rothbart who tests his love by introducing Odile, an exact physical likeness of Odette. But true love triumphs in the end as Siegfried realises his deception, defeats von Rothbart and is reunited at dawn with Odette.
