Summary:
In 1977, the worst accident in aviation history occurred when two 747s collided on the runway at Tenerife in the Canary Islands, killing 583. Using interviews with survivors and analysis by aviation experts, The deadliest plane crash recounts that disaster and examines what measures have been taken to prevent this type of accident from happening again.
