Summary:
Belmondo plays both novelist Francois Merlin and his master spy Bob St. Clair. Bisset is Christine, a sociology student, whom Belmondo transforms into Tatiana, glamorous spy assistant to St. Clair. When the real life Christine becomes enamored with St. Clair, Belmondo faces some tough decisions to arrive at a happy "ending."
