Pocketful of kisses: When Digby goes to school for his second day he is beset with worries. He can't remember where to line up, or hang his coat, and he thinks that no one will play with him. To reassure him his mother blows a dozen kisses into his pocket telling him that if he feels worried he should take a kiss from his pocket and imagine his Mother with him. Boomer goes to school: Boomer is going to school! Like many new students, Boomer finds that going to school can be a bit confusing... at first. But in the end, he discovers that school is a great place for friends, learning, and fun! One odd day: Tells the humorous story of a young child who awakens to find everything around him is "odd." He has three sleeves on his shirt, and his dog has five legs. Things are no better at school either when he stares at a calendar with only odd days. Will his odd day end when he goes to bed that night? I am dead at recess: A witty and irreverent tale of the anticipated recess confrontation between a class clown and the school bully. You won't be disappointed by the surprise twist ending, which will leave everyone ever bullied in the schoolyard cheering wildly. I.Q., it's time: I.Q.'s class is going to have a busy day. She doesn't know anybody, and nobody knows her. It will be awful. She just knows it. With much prodding from Mr. Hartwell, Sarah Jane reluctantly pulls herself together and goes to school. She is quickly befriended by Mrs. Burton, who helps smooth her jittery transition.
