Summary:
"Just as the Nazi army is poised to invade Norway at the beginning of World War II, an aging Norwegian merchant mariner retires and returns to his loving wife in Oslo. But when he sees what lies ahead, the sailor dons his outdated cavalry uniform and enlists in what he hopes will be a strong resistance effort. Instead, he finds an army in disarray.
