Summary:
Blonde venus is the story of a woman whose scientist husband is diagnosed with radium poisoning. To pay for his treatment in Europe, she returns to the night club stage, garnering overnight success and falling for a rich, young politician, who offers financial support for her and her son. After her husband returns unexpectedly, she finds herself torn between him, her lover, her career and her child.
Shanghai express is set in the exotic and war torn China of the 1930s, and concerns a woman who, after being jilted by her military lover, gains a reputation as a notorious advdenturess. The couple is reunited by chance on a train which is attacked by Chinese rebels. To save the man she still loves, the woman becomes involved with the rebel leader. This release includes the original theartical trailer.
