Summary:
Filmed in and around San Juan Bautista Mission, La Pastorela is a musical retelling of the shepherds' journey to Bethlehem to see the Christ Child. We see the play through the eyes of a young Chicana. In her surrealistic dream, she makes the journey with the shepherds.
